Check the BMS part number. This caught me when I bought used and was having the same exact issue.

Thanks for this! I had no idea this was an issue but sure enough, my truck that fails 90 seconds into the update has the bad part number.
Very cool that the corrected part is now 2-3x more expensive than it was just a couple years ago.
Thanks for the additional 6mm idea. Seems like itās truck issue. OBD/Car Scanner is reporting 100% charged after being connected to the Noco but itās still failing within 90 seconds of starting the update multiple times.
Itās downstream of the BMS and set to 12V AGM, I think? I tried all of the other strategies to get it charged before buying the Noco as the last option. Guess Iāll make an appointment at the dealer since the truck is well under 3yr/36k.
Here's one for the 12V battery guru's. Software Update PT-25.13.12 "Charge Port Functionality & Cold Weather Performance" has been failing each night for a week or so. Looking at Car Scanner, the 12V hovered around 80-90% in the morning when I'd see the failure notice for low battery.

I really wanted to get power to my @PolymerBuilt cubby so I could have wired CarPlay and generally have a distaste for exposed wiring. I ended up buying one of these and just winging it. 5/8in spade cut through pretty cleanly with slow steady pressure.
If the cubby wall was 2mm thinner I could...
In South Carolina, if you have comprehensive coverage, all windows are covered without deductible regardless of how they were damaged. Kind of shocked it isn't the same nationwide!
On topic: I've had multiple non-Lightning F-150 windows replaced by Safelite and never had an issue with the glass...
But here's the thing though, there isn't more than meets the eye. This is the exact same functionality as FordPass in a new skin. Which is what @molsonmatt said two weeks ago.
Also, you're doubling down on a THEORETICAL point because there aren't any "features or quality improvements" in this...
If your info doesn't include "new features that tons of people request" or include a realistic timeline as to when those features are gonna happen, yeah, you hyped this too much.
Another vote for @PolymerBuilt's cubby! Ordered a PZ1Z-7P155-AM from here and was sent a PZ1Z-7P155-HF which worked perfectly. This is the non-motorized, blue ambient light and "L" button variant from an Escape. Test fit with this 17mm mount while a couple other pieces are in the mail.
Took...
Sorry, I was referring to your earlier post about making your own version of the Dual-T base since the Akron didnāt fit perfectly.
Although, now that Iām thinking about it. Maybe a small USB-C cable sized hole in front of the rotary dial on the cubby wall to easily run power from the console...
