I agree totally. My truck is parked very close to my router with a gigabit connection. But it feels like it never uses my WiFi or else the commands in the app wouldn’t take forever to execute.
Would you ever consider selling any of your 3d print files rather than the printed object itself? I only ask because I have a 3d printer myself so it wouldn’t make sense for me to buy a 3d printed item.
I have no interest in taking anyone’s design to sell it myself, but I understand why you...
This is a great write up. Now I know that I should stop using departures for my 10 minute work commute! It's a complete waste of electricity to pre-con the battery for that.
Just want to say, this is absolutely excellent work. I have poor AT&T coverage at my house too, so it take like 15 seconds for things in the app to actually happen. I may consider this.
You can get either $4/mo for 12 months and pay monthly, or you can push the CS to give you the $3/mo for 36 months offer but you pay it all at once, not monthly.
I chose the f150 when ordering, says it comes with the q4 harness, and the comma four comes with a 2ft OBD-C in the box. Thats all we need? Dont we need a longer usb c to go from under the dash to above the mirror, or am I mistaken?
I was planning to buy this Cable Matters 8ft USB 3.2 TB4 cable.
Bosch ICON. As the user above mentioned, 22A/22B is the official fitment. But a common f150 "hack" is to buy 24A/24A. You'll get more surface area wiped, no downsides. I'm using it right now and its perfect.

Well today was my first day driving after my Bluecruise trial expired… and… I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the comma four haha. Can’t go back to driving myself!
I just hope I can find my coupler, I bought it back in September and can’t remember where I left it 😂
Well this throws a wrench in my plans to buy a comma on sale at black friday. I wont get a comma 4 for up to 3 months, and i cant buy a 3x anymore. Already have the coupler too lol. And my bluecruise trial ends this month! Darn...
My opinion is that you might be able to make it to your vacation homes without stopping. If you drive 55-60 while towing, you should be able to get 1.5 or 1.6 mi/kwh, which equates to 196-222 miles on a full charge. If you have a level 2 charger at both homes, you'll be golden. Worst case...
Not sure how to find someone with Forscan. How have you guys found people to do it for you? I dont have a windows laptop right now, or I'd DIY it. Do I just need to hang around a dealership and offer a tech $20 to enable a few options with Forscan?
If anyone is around the Akron/Canton, or the...
If you're upside down by a lot, youre better off driving it til the wheels fall off. Selling it with negative equity, rolling that neg into a new loan on a cheaper car, will just give you the same or higher payment. Plus no lightning.
Try to extend the loan, and apply to every single remote...
