Hi, I love my truck, if there wasn’t this odd brake pedal feel: like breaking through thin ice every time it is applied.
When the 12v battery is disconnected, the resistance goes away. Ford dealer thinks it’s „normal“, so no useful input there…. A friend mechanic asked me to inquire about...
update: I asked a mechanic friend to take a look at it. He checked the mechanical side (pedal/cylinder). Resistance was felt even after unbolting the pedal assembly. He then unplugged the battery and the resistance was gone completely. Once the power was back, it had the resistance again.

Hi! Whenever I depress the brake pedal, it feels like braking through a thin sheet of ice before the pedal operates normally. I have tried to get used to it after the dealer told me it was normal, but brought it back again only to learn that this sensation stems from the regenerative brake...
Hi there! I have posted this on another forum, but didn't get much feedback...
Here's the thing with my 23 XLT SR (which I LOVE - it's the best car I ever had): Just right before closing the tailgate, there is a loud "pop" sound. I read that there were issues with torsion bars, but since my...
