I feel you! I recently had an electrician install a 50Amp breaker and run that expensive wire towards my garage door for a 240V receptacle. My total bill was $580 for the wire, the 50amp breaker, also had to get 2 2x20 breakers, and labor. Hopefully it'll all be worth it when this truck...

Yes, I likely will do that. When the electrician comes to install the 240v, he's going to add a 120v that's closer to where we park the Volvo, and it'll be on it's own breaker as well so it doesn't trip the breaker or fry the receptacle. I'll likely use the 120v for the Volvo 90% of the time...
