I have to imagine that unless your Kyle Connor with Out of Spec, most people charge a majority at home as opposed to DC fast charging. I was just wondering all factors being equal, theoretically if the ER truck is more likely of going say 400,000 miles, I’m currently driving 20k per year, the...
I really could have used the hair dryer (that I took out of the truck) last night trying to charge on Mt. Hood in a snowstorm. Issues both with the chargeport door freezing and the chargers themselves being full of ice and snow. The chargers were almost buried in the snow drifts.
So I heard/read somewhere that batteries lifespans can be measured in charging cycles. If that is true, it seems to me that the ER truck should theoretically be more capable of longer/higher mileage lifespan without a battery replacement. My knowledge of battery technology is superficial at best...
Very sorry to hear about your accident, I hope your wrist is ok. I saw your video last night after coming home from Mount Hood after skiing. I'd grown a little over confident in my driving in winter conditions and got put in my place after almost sliding into a barrier on a curve while I thought...
As large as the F150 is, it is pretty easy to park with birds eye view cameras and parking sensors. I continually amaze and delight passengers and bystanders sliding this land yacht into spots most sedan drivers would have trouble with!
It's exciting to see the Lightning making it's way across...
6.8 was the first update to fail on my 22' Lariat SR. About a week and a half later it tried again and succeeded. I have yet to even open the cover on my LVB, knock on wood.
Does anyone know if these supercharger adapters will do double duty as an adapter for level 2 charging at Tesla destination charger as well? I’m guessing likely not since they’re connecting to our DC pins 🤔
That Tesla charger in Boardman was .28 a few months ago when I used it. It's a great option out there especially when the EA at Hermiston has been completely down on a few occasions I've needed it.
I had that happen several times now and the conditions weren’t even bad. It just all of a sudden started accelerating like a runaway train, scared the hell out of me. I always have to keep making sure speed limit recognition stays shut off after updates.
I have a set in my frunk for the Lariat wheels but then read in the owners manual chains are not recommended for the 20” wheels… I installed Blizzaks since I do a fair amount of skiing and have not needed to use the chains and I hope it stays that way.
Does anyone know if you can pass over the Guess o meter update and go straight from 3.5.4 to 4.1.1? I would imagine you'd need to disable automatic updates and do manual?
I'm quickly approaching my 1st month of ownership and starting to have Sirius XM blowing up my phone and emails about Ford Connected Services. What's everyone paying for vs letting it expire? I haven't answered the phone yet from Sirius because I despise sales pitches over the phone. My last new...
It appears we need this as a winter accessory. I had all kinds of things frozen shut today, the frunk was one of them though so, we need to keep hair dryers in the frunk, bed and cab depending on which one we can get open! 😂
Mine too, I turned it on about a mile from a dairy farm and by the time I drove by 🐄💩 I was smelling poo and it was off… they really need to fix this! Also at least on lariat and higher there’s no lighted button where you can see that it turned off..
