This is super strange. I received a call last night from Ford Corporate asking me to take my vehicle in as soon as possible because of an immediate service bulletin relating to something similar to what you experienced. The rep wouldn’t give me any info on the service other than something...
I sold mine for $1,200 on eBay. I also got the $500 Visa card and extra 250 kWh charger credits due to shipping delay. Sold within a day of posting it. This was in June though, so the market may be different know with more chargers out there.
Just went through this exact scenario this weekend. It definitely causes the crate to be unstable. Probably going to have to DIY it until someone comes out with something. Strapping it down would maybe help, just not sure where/ how to strap it down.
Most detail shops recommend to wait 30 days before poking and prodding the paint. I was a 5/11 blend. I pulled off the emblems on 6/12. No issues with the paint.
I removed the “lightning” emblems on both sides. I theft the flag, because it’s subtle enough. The first side felt like it took 45 minutes. Process was heat gun and dental floss. All the emblems popped off fine, but the adhesive that was left behind was a nightmare to remove. I ended up using...
They probably just have one photo of each color and just send out the mass email. Lol
10 years ago when I purchased my X3, BMW had 10 different cameras throughout the build process that stitched together a video of my actual build. Each clip was my car and had the VIN listed. It was pretty cool.
I wouldn’t read too far into this mass email. These appear to have been sent to large groups of ford customers with an active order. They are being sent to ICE F150 orders as well. I think this is a boiler plate email saying “expect delays”.
I’m not saying I (You) don’t own it. I’m saying you are “selling” back to Ford at the agreed residual price that is predetermined in the Ford Options Plan. If the dealer or ford say the truck is only worth $15,000 you don’t come up with the difference. That’s the whole point of them providing...
Not sure if this is accurate. At the end of the 36 or 48 months and you have no intention on keeping it, you would return it to Ford Motor Co finance via the dealer. The dealer isn’t buying. And if they are, they are going to buy it from Ford Motor Co. I could be wrong through.
There isn’t an OBDII port there. There is a diagnostic port there which you can plug an OBDII adapter that you purchase elsewhere to gain the similar information.
No OBD ports in Tesla model 3 and model Y. It’s not nessecary in electric cars since it was designed entirely for the purpose of emissions testing… there is no emissions in an electric truck, so not required.
I’m sure they will still install one though.
