I haven't dug around underneath, but is it necessary to remove the bed to do that? Is there too much stuff in the way to access with it on?

My '17 has the front tie downs located about mid-way up the bed. For the purpose of hauling small amounts of lumber around, this makes tying the load down impossible in the front. Has anyone moved the factory tie down to the bottom of the bed? I'm assuming there's nuts on the other side of bolts...
