Yea to the loaner but they gave me a gas f150.
It took them a little more than a month to fix it. The leak was somewhere behind the glove box. As water would flow down the windshield, it would leak into the cab at a weld point. Took 3 tries to fix according to the shop.
My driveway declines only enough for rain water to run, i would normally park bed down. I started getting those spots under the front passenger mat and thats where most of the sitting water was.
My leak was ultimately fixed before I returned it so there's that
Thank you for this. My assumption at the time was that it was software.
As I wait for replacement sensors to arrive at the dealer, I've started to get more errors but for a different front sensor
these aftermarket installs are considered "collateral". dig up any invoices/receipts for the installs and submit them in your claim under your states lemon law or just contact the ford customer service and ask them to submit a request to repurchase the vehicle. If deemed a lemon or if ford...
I'm leaning towards a software issue. Super weird that trucks purchased in the last two weeks seem to be impacted by this...I caught wind of a few reddit threads on the subject too, all recent purchases
So I've got a new Lightning and I'm already back here asking for info...
I made the trip home from the dealer (3 hous away) with no issues until I pulled into the driveway.
i get the error that the front sensor is unavailable, front sensor blocked. I checked the FB Lightning group and a clear...
Here's my clarification, I never liked the original ones but I purchased blackedout decals from etsy. I guess I miss those since the truck as dark so it was "there" but not ultra visible. I think I want to do something like that again. Just not sure of the outcome on a Lightning
I had a PB with sport/black appearance package and I miss the 4x4 decals on the bed of the truck. Anyone add any to their lightning?
I'd probably try to get one that closely resembles the color of the truck (in my case Avalanche)
As someone else mentioned. I too am waiting for the bidirectional charging. I already purchased a level 2 charger so I'm not gonna spend money on another..it's not transformational enough to warrant the cost but bidirectional will be.
I have a 14.5kw system 44 iq7 panels
Final update:
Ford RAV team agreed to repurchase the Lariat ER, paying off the loan + finance charges and collateral. Overall that was a total of 98.5k(original out the door was 95k. I surrendered the vehicle a couple days ago.
Today I went back to the lot and got another Lariat ER, this time...
It took some better understanding of FL law and Fords obligations but I think it's because of the timing. I contacted Ford at day 15 for the truck being out of service. 15 days is a milestone in FL lemon law but only to notify a manufacturer. Ford denied my claim because they wanted to see if...
