I own a pro and was thinking originally that I would have to upgrade the speakers. They are fine for me, nothing special. The lariat does sound better, but it’s not a crazy difference.
It was as cool as a cucumber. We had a lot of fun driving the Turo model 3 around Denver and Colorado Springs last year. We’ve done pikes peak in a hubrid Avalon back in 2018 and it did a great job as well. Both Turo rentals.
I’ve had my pro since 7/18 and have had zero problems after 2000+ miles. I’ve taken it across the state on a 350+ mile road trip, towed a boat, hauled construction materials, etc. It has been a great vehicle.
Looked like a great trip! Has anyone taken it up pikes peak yet? I did this in a model 3 and it was hilarious to see the regen chart. EVs are great for climbs like this as the brakes aren’t being overworked coming down.
I got it free with my Pro so it’s fine, but I wouldn’t pay $500 for it. Go on Amazon or eBay and order a mobile 40amp charger for a few hundred and enjoy faster charge times for less money.
I live in Michigan and the lightning is cheaper to insure than the 2021 Tacoma TRD sport I replaced. Around $149 a month for full coverage with two vehicles on my policy.
This is a destination charger. I read that Elon will be allowing businesses and homeowners to offer destination charging with a fee, but they have to purchase some Wi-Fi device to mount to it.
The open SC network isn’t live yet in the Us, but the ball is definitely rolling now. Elon has mentioned this and with the incentives from the inflation reduction act, I expect to see more growth in infrastructure.
You wouldn’t want a J1772 adapter only, you want to CCS to get a higher speed. It’s definitely legit and in the Tesla app. More to come on this, but it’s a nice option that’s in progress for us.
Absolutely worth the money. One of the best features to add and trust me, will be helpful at times. Have it on my pro and there’s no way I would have purchased it without it. Already sold my gas generator as it’s way more powerful.
Wasn't notified until later on in the day when I got a complete your purchase email. However, I live close to the plant so when I saw in transit on the app track website, I knew it was going to be there when I got out of work. You will see it very soon. I'm shocked it's not there yet.
