  1. Charge Station Pro Problems

You can't change the amps if you're plugged in and/or charging. If you are, unplug, then adjust the amps, should take.
  2. Charge Station Pro Problems

Yes, just off then back on. For me I do it from the breaker in the panel. Sometimes the reset of the unit and and wifi can trigger it moving forward with an update.
  3. Charge Station Pro Problems

Yes, there was a software update last summer that resolved this. Here's mine/the current version. Try power cycling your charger to get the update to install? Mine recently had an update pending for awhile, but looks like it installed since last I looked.
  4. Ford Power-Up 4.2.2 Voice Feedback

I'm not talking function, I'm speaking design. The icons themselves look like they're from a knock off iPhone. For my taste the truck icon was preferable, and I think they can do better. For me, they're so off I wasn't sure if something went sideways with my particular update, just like we used...
  5. Ford Power-Up 4.2.2 Voice Feedback

Maybe I'm late to the party, but got this update today which included the new interface for me. Not a fan of the new icons in the top left corner, seems a step backwards design wise.
  6. 2025 Ram 1500 REV Revealed!! Have a reservation placed? Sign in here! 🙋🏻‍♂️

@Administrator I'm all for clean boards, but the thread I started about the ad being merged with this one on the truck itself is maybe a touch aggressive. My intent was to share and discuss the range anxiety specifically around towing, and Dodges clever (IMO) way of making light about it. Then...

https://www-autoblog-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.autoblog.com/amp/2023/02/12/ram-1500-rev-super-bowl-commercial-premature-electrification/ Just saw this ad during the Super Bowl and found it pretty humourous. As many of us have discovered/discussed, the issues around current gen tech and...
  8. Hood Deflector?

Bumping this thread... Some fresh Googling still isn't turning up any options. Is this kind of accessory being ignored under the assumption the Lightning specific hood/front end design is optimized for aerodynamics and so something like this would hurt? 🤷‍♂️
  9. Anything new in the mudflap department?

By "factory" do you just mean the Ford OEM ones? https://accessories.ford.com/products/f-150-2021-rear-black-molded-splash-guard-pair
  10. My Lightning's new feature - house protection (jk, ice accident...)

Like many this week, been very cold here and brought freezing rain, about 1/2". Woke up this morning to a neighbor knocking on my door with bad news... We live in a hill, and the the Tesla Y belonging to a neighbor at the very top, slid overnight (while parked), bumped into his Avalanche, which...
  11. Winter / cold weather range loss study results

And just so we're clear, I love all you people, and have zero issue being corrected if/where I'm wrong. All in the interest of everyone getting smarter from everyone else's perspective and exposure to the widest range of info/data
  12. Winter / cold weather range loss study results

I didn't read them as assuming facts- to your earlier point, they note that they're including estimates for some models, but those estimates are based on the telematics reporting of over 7,000 vehicles in their membership base. The only ones they said were "verified" were the ones they've tested...
  13. Winter / cold weather range loss study results

Yes, and no where in that article does it mention heat pumps. And apparently you're incorrect: "According to Dave Lis, director of technology and market solutions at Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP), air-source heat pumps can work as a home’s main heating system in almost any...
  14. Winter / cold weather range loss study results

The CR report is based on ONE instance of each, right? They note the ID.4 *can* come with a heat pump, on the Canadian and European models, but I would guess most of their data here is from US versions, and "In both configuration, however, the cabin heater is resistive, rather than using a heat...
  15. Winter / cold weather range loss study results

Ok, yes- if you're referring to those specific cars, which I highlighted as just some examples, you're correct that the reported info on those as in the "Estimated" category. I wasn't trying to be so specific about one vs another- I was looking more at the aggregate. If you actually read the...
  16. Winter / cold weather range loss study results

Why would you only clip half that statement? "Estimated winter ranges are based on on-board telematics and reflect the OEMs proprietary range calculations and software. Verified winter ranges are based on original Recurrent research using a combination of on-board devices and real-time usage...
  17. Winter / cold weather range loss study results

Here's the source article which actually goes quite a bit deeper into each vehicle and the science of it all. Sounds like those with heat pumps (unsurprisingly, I suppose) are the ones that do better in winter, including the E-tron and Jaguar...
  18. Winter / cold weather range loss study results

What I thought was interesting was the volume of data points. Looks like the Consumer Reports one was just based on their example vehicle.
  19. Winter / cold weather range loss study results

Thought this was interesting, especially for those of us new to EVs. Mustang Mach E seeing ~30%. Thankfully hasn't been that bad for me with my Lighting, but still seeing about a 20% loss. Mustang Mach E owners here- that about right in your experience...
  20. SYNC 4A Improvement email confirms dial will control climate + other upgrades / changes

That's one solution 😂 This occurred while she was driving it, putting her CUP (not even travel mug/carafe) on that little dash pad behind the screen. If she'd tried that with me driving she wouldn't have even finished the motion before I called her out. She does feel terrible though 🤷 For...
