With the Lightning's relatively flat charging curve up to 80%, it would be better to charge up to that, rather than multiple short stops which can be a better strategy with some other EVs.

I confirmed with multiple Ford reps, the adapter will not be free.

I haven't done a full review of thier products yet, but I have seen and used them. I from my limited experience I'd say they are average to slightly below average as far as build quality.

A Lot of them were the plug, but I saw a few that burned out inside the unit.

They should be called MustMelt. Please be careful with that unit. I have had dozens of followers tell me the Mustart failed and melted after about a year of continued use. They are very low quality and not safety certified. Just be careful.

I haven't heard of anyone with a Lightning having issues. I also haven't been to one since that first day when I made the video.

Yeah, I just reached out to Ford. WHile it was supposed to be ready by the end of January, it's not quite ready yet. Should be soon, but not yet. I will post here as soon as I hear anything.

While most of the literature says 40-amps, I think the actual max output from the HIS inverter is 37.5-amps. Sorry to hear about Sunrun not showing. :confused:

Yes, I believe they are working on that. Eventually, it will be. I just don't know if the existing MMEs will have the capability or just the new ones.
