Selling a like-new 2023 Ford Lightning Lariat Extended Range, Carbonized Grey Metallic. Owned about two months with fewer than 530 miles on the odometer as of this posting. I waited nearly two years after putting in a reservation with Ford but the timing was bad when the truck finally arrived. I have higher priorities now so I've decided to sell. If you don’t already have a Lightning reservation with Ford, you’re looking at 2025 delivery at the earliest. Or you can buy this one, avoid future price hikes and go straight to the front of the line.
This is a really fun truck to drive. The instant power and torque on a full-size truck is an experience like no other. The truck offers a spacious interior and the comfortable seating makes it perfect for hauling you, your family and everybody's gear. Even with the increase in elevation, the Extended Range battery got me from the Bay Area up to the mountains with no stops along the way to charge.
Three additions: all-weather mats, a spray-in bedliner and a RetraxPro XR retractable tonneau truck bed cover ($150, $500 and $2,300). Besides those, this truck is yours to customize.

If you are looking at this truck you probably know that it has bi-directional charging capabilities. Meaning you can charge the truck and also use the truck to supply power for your home or anything. It comes with a mobile charger as well as a Ford Pro charger which I did not install. This Pro charger, once installed, can charge the truck at 80 amps and supply power to your home in case of a power outage. It’s like having a big generator for your home, which you can also drive. The battery size on this truck is 131 kWh. If you were to secure a Tesla battery wall system with 131 kWh battery capacity, the cost could be in the range of $100k.
