Hey all -
Wondering if anyone out there has installed a 6th jump seat in between the two bucket seats in their Lightning with the larger screen:
I've seen this thread where it was done previously on a smaller screen Lightning:
https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/console-to-column-shift-swap-mod.16707/page-5
But it seems like it could be a bit more simplified now that Infotainment has a video walkthrough of the column shifter install:
That said, both examples are with the smaller screen. Does anyone have a direction I can follow to get this done in a 2022 Lariat with the larger screen? I’m hoping the main swap is the column shifter, which I would just leave as a permanent mod. Then, when I have guests (in-laws) visiting for a couple of months, and we need 6 seats, I’d swap out the console for a bench with a 1-3 hour DIY.
Seems like an awesome mod if it’s feasible right now!
Thanks!
