After market screen in a 2012 Ford F-150

I have a 2012 f150 and have recently purchased a screen and install kit for the truck. I started working on it and after getting the harness made and putting the radio into the truck,it had no power. Did some googling and I found out the harness I bought with the install kit does not have a ignition wire and I would need to tap into the factory harness. I don’t want to go cutting up the factory harness if there is another solution to this problem.

Look into fuse taps. There should be fuses in panel that are both before and after the ignition in the electrical hierarchy.
