Anyone with a Pro on order wanting a Lariat??

I have a Lariat with extended battery on order, 5/3 week build. As the deliveries drag on, it’s giving me time to think and I’m having second thoughts.

I need a truck for business and pleasure. I didn’t really want an $80k truck but there wasn’t anything in between with an extended battery.

I figured I would throw it out and see if someone with a Pro is interested in swapping orders. Prefer a similar build week as I need the truck sooner than later.

Anyone who was able to order a Pro, would've had the option to buy a Lariat. The Pro is the hottest trim from an availability standpoint, a swap likely won't happen.

The only way I could see any possibility of a swap would be to split some difference on the price. Maybe someone with a Pro would take $50k and use the $10k discount on a Lariat. You save money, the Pro buyer steps up at a discount.

Well another thing thats not factored. You say you want extended range. I've yet to even see a extended range pro in order or on a video.. unicorn shit

I feel like it was just a mad rush to order it and not enough answers to questions. One of the factors in getting the Lariat was the whole house generator…only to realize they wanted about $9k to do it.

Either way, just throwing it out there in case there was interest. Ultimately when it comes in I’m sure I’ll be psyched for it.

Hey, you never know! It’s always okay to ask. I wanted a Pro and settled for a Lariat too.

I hope my father is lucky enough to order a Pro after extending his invitation to order during wave 3. I told him it’s a slim chance and to be ready to order an XLT for 2023. He’s getting a standard range battery, but if he goes on a longer trip we will more than likely be swapping out trucks here and there.

Wanted Pro or XLT as a daily commuter vehicle but ended up with Lariat from a wave 6 order.

I figured I would drive it for a year and see if it makes sense for me.

If not, I can always sell the first year model which would be hopefully like the first year Raptor that commands a huge resale #....
