I haven’t had connectivity wirelessly on anything Bluetooth to my 23 Platinum ER for over 2 weeks. Tried everything. In works on wired. Mobile tech came out friday and said I have 16 OTA that have not update. ..I was like ..no kidding I have been telling them that for the past 3 months. (Last update was October). Anyway. Tech said no way he could update them all so they made an in person appt for today for me. (which will be my 3rd time there to try to get all updates I asked for )…when I woke up today my iPhone said I had an update for CarPlay wireless issues. It was installed. I rebooted everything (phone and truck) and it did NOT fix the issue so I took it in to see what they say. My guess is they will have it for 3 days and I still won’t get any updates. Becoming frustrated with Ford’s ability to handle the technology support side of everything.

I regret to inform everyone that this does NOT fix the no-audio bug that occurs on occasion with CarPlay. I have updated a couple days ago, but today my CarPlay came up with no volume at all. Quick disconnect and reconnect fixed the issue as always, but it is still so annoying.
Like most others, I have no connectivity issues. Just the no audio from time to time when it first connects upon starting the truck.

After being convinced this was a Ford issue. Took my MY23 so they could update the 15 or so updates I not been getting. After a full 3 days there, they said all was fixed and im good. The tech was able to get their iPhone and an android connected. Told me to delete and reconnect. I did that and nothing deleted sync and reinstalled. Nothing. The ONLY way I get CarPlay is if I hard wire with usb-c. Tried everything I know of and now I’m thinking Apple may be the issue. Was not a problem until I got the 18.4 and then I did the 18.4.1 hoping it would cure the inability to get CarPlay wirelessly via Bluetooth. What a PITA. Anyone with other ideas or a fix? I’m all ears.
