Is the collapsible Ford bed extender being redesigned for 2021 due to propower onboard? I think I read somewhere it interferes if deployed on the inside of the bed with propower onboard use.

Separate question, would use of something like Black Armour rubber bedmat interfere with use of a bed extender (if used towards inside of the bed) due to the mat’s thickness?

You can see my comments about it here, as I am moving my bed extender to my powerboost. https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thr...ave-ordered-and-have-questions.945/post-13118

Regarding a mat interfering, yes it will. But not to where it is unusable. Just do what I do, and don't put in the pin to lock it in the "interior" position. The rubber feet will stick against the floor as you pull each half from the "stow" position to meet in the middle. So I just keep the pin unlocked so I can swivel it up just a bit while extending to meet in the middle, then once it is connected I let it touch the floor again. The feet are very grippy.
