Have been waffling for a long time about getting a Lightning and getting more serious.

Looking at XLT ER’s which in Canada include 312A pkg. There are a few ‘23s in my area (Maritimes), still listed at MSRP CAD $87k ish but betting I could probably get $8-10k off with some bargaining and factory financing 4.9%.

Came across this preowned ‘22 near me with 16k kms on it, listed for $68,900, looks nice, one owner, clean carfax

Guessing I could probably knock another $2500 off. Has the rear underseat storage and a tonneau. Somebody took a major depreciation hit on this to get rid of it, so that gives me pause. Worth it to save 10k?

Assuming the ones you are looking at and pricing are all ERs. You'll take less of a hit on off-the-lot depreciation on the 22 and they are pretty much the same truck. I'd ask for the service history on the 22 to see what (if anything) has been done to it.
