I lost a mentor recently that I held in the same regard as Dr. Goodenough, Dr Dahm, and Dr. Judy. He was a peer to these individuals, but not as well known. They held him in high regard and some of them were in the consortium just because he was the project manager. Bapi, as he was known, was one of the people whom developed the hybrid system for the Toyota Prius. An original OG in this area!

I just came across a podcast where he and my manager gave about a year ago explaining what goes on in my lab. Give it a listen if you would like to know about the Energy Storage Technology Center at Southwest Research Institute and all we have going on there.
