Driver's door lock button issues

I'm having issues with my 2024 Lightning Lariat as far as it sensing and unlocking / locking with inside the handle hand touch for unlock and the black button lock. It works about 1/2 the time

Where is your key located? I find my key has to be pretty close if it's in my pocket.
