I am not quite ready yet, but I am planning on removing and giving away my Ford / sunrun home integration system. My system works but I have changed over to the Sigenergy V2X system instead.

The #1 issue with my hardware is that the transfer switch (MIB-200) was dropped, and it damaged the enclsoure and caused the transformer to become un-glued from the back. I believe this is fixable, but never spent the time. It can be mounted on a horizontal shelf (which is how I had mine for over a year) in its current state. It is fully functional.

I also am giving it away for free just in case the next owner has any issues, I don't want to have taken any money on it.

That all being said, it does work correctly, and has all the update firmware. I have a lot of knowledge on the system, and would be glad to help someone that is local to me (Cypress TX near Houston area).

Even without the lightning, the inverter can be paired with solar (up to 4kW for on-grid use), and/or the LG battery RESU 16 Prime which currently goes for $2750 on signature solar.

The system will be boxed in its original packaging, but I have no intention on shipping it. I would want local pickup only. Its not too large, and easily fits in a car or truck.

Please note this requires a ford Charge Station pro, which is not included in this package. I am keeping mine for now. This could be negotiable however.

I am also willing to sell about 30 ft of #8 wire and the 3/4" flex conduit currently being used.

the set includes the Delta E4_BDI inverter, dark start battery, and MID-200 transfer switch mentioned above. I have lots of system documentation I can provide.

I would only recommend this hardware for a very electrically inclined person as a DIY project.

Has it already been spoken for? I’d like to take on the challenge and appreciate the head start into getting into the home integration system

It is usually sold through installers, but the self2solar website does sell retail. It does require a certified installer, which any licensed electrician can qualify for with online training.

The absolute base system would be $6500 on self2solar (which could be used with trucks generator output only), and the V2X (full bi-directional charger) module there is $3500, so right about $10k.

The full Ford HIS system with HIS components, 16kWh battery, and FCSP (new) would be about $8k. The same Sigenergy System is about $13-$14k, so it is more expensive hardware. Now the Signergy labor and other (wire) cost is significantly less, especially once you factor the charger and battery are zero extra labor to install (maybe 5 minutes). With ford the battery and FCSP are a lot of extra hours and wire/conduit runs. The installer cost is probably a lot less too through a distributor, so even with their markup, should come to close to the same.

There is a major performance difference too. The Ford system has about a 2 minute delay and only works with the truck off-grid. The Sigenergy system has no transfer delay (sometimes not even a light flicker), and works on or off-grid. Both can do DC or AC coupled solar. The Signergy can do both at once.

Ford system is 9.6kW off grid. Sigenergy is 11.4kW on or off grid.
