I am not quite ready yet, but I am planning on removing and giving away my Ford / sunrun home integration system. My system works but I have changed over to the Sigenergy V2X system instead.
The #1 issue with my hardware is that the transfer switch (MIB-200) was dropped, and it damaged the enclsoure and caused the transformer to become un-glued from the back. I believe this is fixable, but never spent the time. It can be mounted on a horizontal shelf (which is how I had mine for over a year) in its current state. It is fully functional.
I also am giving it away for free just in case the next owner has any issues, I don't want to have taken any money on it.
That all being said, it does work correctly, and has all the update firmware. I have a lot of knowledge on the system, and would be glad to help someone that is local to me (Cypress TX near Houston area).
Even without the lightning, the inverter can be paired with solar (up to 4kW for on-grid use), and/or the LG battery RESU 16 Prime which currently goes for $2750 on signature solar.
The system will be boxed in its original packaging, but I have no intention on shipping it. I would want local pickup only. Its not too large, and easily fits in a car or truck.
Please note this requires a ford Charge Station pro, which is not included in this package. I am keeping mine for now. This could be negotiable however.
I am also willing to sell about 30 ft of #8 wire and the 3/4" flex conduit currently being used.
the set includes the Delta E4_BDI inverter, dark start battery, and MID-200 transfer switch mentioned above. I have lots of system documentation I can provide.
I would only recommend this hardware for a very electrically inclined person as a DIY project.
