My HIS wont seem to work and all connections have been made properly, inverter has been commissioned, and truck, charger, and my phone app have been paired. Also my truck will not charge from the Pro Charger over 10kph and as advertised. Lightning is supposed to deliver 17-19.2 kwh of charging with Pro Charger. My lighting has been as low as 22% battery level and still charges at 10kwh maximum. In talking to someone at Customer Care today I was told that an update was just released that might solve both problems. Anyone recieve this update or have any info on it?

I haven’t heard of issues with the FCSP not delivering the charging current set at installation time. Three things to check:
1) I assume you have an ER truck since you’re talking about the FCSP. If you have an SR truck, the max charge acceptance rate for the SR is 11.3kW, and it will deliver about 90% of that to the battery. This 10kW figure is what FordPass will report.
2) Check with the electrician who did the install to confirm the capacity of the circuit they installed, the breaker, and the internal switch setting for charging current. My guess is that your FCSP is set to charge at 11.5kW (48A) on a 60A circuit.
3) The FCSP will throttle charging power if it gets too hot. What have temperatures been like? Have you tried charging late at night when it is cooler?

With respect to the FCSP firmware and HIS, I’ve been waiting for an update “in a week or two”. since early July. If you haven’t updated the FCSP since installation, there should be one available that addresses overheating but doesn’t fix the HIS issues.

All great information…The charger is set on “7” or 80 amps. I do have the SR so all is nominal. Do you have a reference for the 11.3? As far as the HIS update, we are all waiting for that to verify if the system operates as advertised…. Or simply operates at all in my case. We tried it a few times after we paired everything but no heart beat. I’ll probably thy I again today since ford customer care asked me to go in the truck and see what was on the screen during the attempt.

So with an SR truck, you’re charging as fast as the truck’s on-board AC charger and battery pack allows. See Ford’s Tech Specs (the sheet applies to both MY22 and MY23 trucks). In particular the line “Onboard charger power (input/output)”. For the SR battery, it is a maximum 11.3kW input from the EVSE/FCSP, and 10.5kW output to the battery. FordPass drops fractions, so it will report charging at 10kW.

My experience with the HIS is about the same; at this point it says everything is ready, but it errors out with either a vehicle fault or a charge station fault when we simulate a power outage

How do you update FCSP?. In had thought this was triggered from their server. Also, even though I have SR you can connect to HIS buy paying 500 dollar fee to connected services to download app.

Yesterday was he first time the HIS worked. It finally kicked over. I let it run for 15 minutes prior to me restoring grid power. I’m going to try again tomorrow to check out the loads and capacity. Electrician is coming next week to check it out, hook up additional solar panels, and put something on the HVAC to lower the amperage spike. I’m hoping the updates to make HIS reliable also come out before too long.
