How to set up the tow mirrors.

I have never had tow mirrors before and I can't seem to get the passenger side set to where I feel like I can see. Is there a trick or is there some certain way to set them up.

I have never had tow mirrors before and I can't seem to get the passenger side set to where I feel like I can see. Is there a trick or is there some certain way to set them up.

I had never had tow mirrors either. Here’s what I did after watching YouTube videos on the subject.

On the upper part of the mirror, have the upper 1/3rd show you the sky, and the lower 2/3rds show you the ground. Have the edge of your rear end/tailgate just visible in the corner so you can maximize what you see behind you.

On the lower portion, have it pointed so that you can see the sky in the upper portion, but you mostly want to see the road. Have it pointed away to where you can still see a portion of the truck, but mostly see the road.
