How hard (expensive) would it be to offer this? Anyone with access to the power in the battery of their EV could be a beneficiary. A few more devastating wildfires and grid failures would provide a powerful marketing message. This could be a huge contribution (or penance) for an industry that helped cause the climate crisis. More to the point, it could help point the finger at the industry which in my opinion is the real culprit - the nation's fossil-fuel burning electrical utilities. It could help expedite that industry's transition to a business model based on the distributed generation and storage of electricity and grid management.
