I bought a NEW 2023 Lariat for about $20,000 under market value. The dealer up here has a Platinum for about $20,000 under market value. If you want the dealers name email me back.

F X Caprara in Ogdensburg. Just go to their website. I bought mine in middle of October. Do not know if they still have it. Have not checked lately.

Ford Lighting Flash 2025. One of the 98,000. I have had Tundras, Silverados and F150s. The Lighting is by far the best truck I have ever owned. Sad to see them cancel production. This is a hidden gem for sure. Oh well. I got mines before they were gone. Now it’s just us 98,000 left.

2025 Ford F-150 Lightning Flash
Hello! I come as a convert from the Ranger5G forum. Just traded my 2020 Ranger XLT in Oxford White for a 2025 Flash, also in Oxford White.

My local dealer has seven six Flashes on the lot. Each one is currently discounted $16k. Couldn’t pass it up. Got them to give me a free spare tire since they didn't order any of them with the annoyingly optional spare tire.

If anyone is looking for one head here: https://www.long-mcarthur.com/searchnew.aspx?ModelAndTrim=F-150 Lightning

Ages ago I owned a 2012 Focus Electric and still have my now ancient JuiceBox Classic 40A EVSE that still works great on the Lightning. I have the truck limited to 32A since I have that EVSE connected to a 40A circuit.

Just joined the forum and thankful for all the terrific archived information. I purchased a new 2025 Lightning Lariat earlier this year. This is my third EV. I own a Tesla Model Y (wife's car) and owned a Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve 4xe PHEV. I also purchase what I hope is my last ICE vehicle, a 2025 Ford Maverick for my sons to use. I use my Lightning for my short commute to work and truck stuff. I rarely charge beyond 70% SOC. My previous truck was a Ford F-250 Super Duty (diesel). My lightning is by far the best truck I have ever owned and used for truck stuff. I haul and tow stuff on a regular basis. I recently purchase a 15K pound GCVW dump trailer. I have towed very heavy loads in my dump trailer with no issues and find it much more comfortable to tow than compared with my Super Duty. Yes, the range sucks but I rarely tow long distances. I hope we see more pull-through charging stations soon. I have had to disconnect to charge once while towing my trailer back from Pennsylvania to southern Maryland. I was a reservation holder before sales started on the Lightning. I waited and purchased a different vehicle because of all the Ford price increases before launch and the dealer mark-ups.

Looking forward to learning a bunch from the forum and maybe offering some valuable contributions. Cheers.

Hello David. You got the color I wanted. I'm just 30 miles from the dealer. They didn't have those on the lot when I was looking in September and none of them have the trailer tow package along with the 9.6 pro power which I was looking for.

I had talked to them though. The dealer incentives they list don't always apply. So what was your deal? What MSRP and what was the financing/lease price with cash down, or if you paid cash what was the bottom line amount so we can evaluate the deal? You got yours without the tax credit so I'm wondering what deals they and ford are putting together now.

There's lots to learn so hang in here and if you have a long trip coming up let us know. I'm heading up to Salina in a while to do some shopping.

Thanks.

The price advertised on their website was accurate. The window sticker shows $73,015. My contract shows the agreed upon price as $65,015. An additional $8,500 in rebates was applied. I also traded in my Ranger (it had an outstanding loan so the trade in value was of course reduced, but still a net positive). Adjusted capitalized cost was $54,542.57.

My base payment is lower than what Ford was/is advertising.

As for the features you mentioned, I don't need the max tow package, so I was fine skipping that. I have a small utility trailer that I tow occasionally. That will likely be the extent of what it ever tows. The slightly higher priced Rapid Red on the lot does have the 9.6kW Pro Power, but my wife's Edge is Ruby Red, and I didn't want two Fords that were almost the same color, haha. The 9.6kW would be a "nice to have" for me. I'm sure I will use the 2.4kW from time to time, but it won't be an everyday thing. I guess I fit Ford's demographic for the Flash trim pretty well. The only two higher trim features that I would have liked to have is the memory seating and the rear seat heaters, but we can live without those.

I am looking to get a new Lightning since they are discontinued. Mine is a 2022 with no issues but I figure it may be time to get a 2025.
I want the max tow since Ford made the rear locking diff part of that option. on the Flash. A rear locking axle is important to me.

You may want to look for a 2024, lots of posts indicate Ford Deleted features on the 2025.
My 2024 XLT has the locking rear diff option, and many of the other options - bed scale, 360 cameras and exterior lights, key-pad on the door, etc. I suggest checking features, you may save some money too. (I did).

Good luck. Can't tell if you leased or financed but they gave you a 8 grand discount. Kansas makes you pay sales tax on the rebates.

Took me almost 3 months of driving but read of another guy doing it here and I've started driving with the one pedal. Takes a little getting used to but handy and easier. I think I get better electric mileage using the one pedal as well. Might see you at Sams or Walmart in Salina some Friday or Sat evening. Watch for a black one in the handicapped parking by the grocery doors.

I leased the truck for 48mo./7500mi.

I haven’t tried 1-Pedal yet. I did try Auto Hold and I can’t decide if I like it. It’s a little jerky taking off as the truck starts to apply power and then releases the brakes. I would definitely turn it on if I was in stop/go traffic, but that doesn’t really happen in Salina.

I haven't tried the auto hold yet but I sure wish I knew about one pedal or that on my trip to San Antonio with hours of bumper to bumper traffic through countless miles of road construction. Will have to experiment but I think auto hold is good for hills and when I go to Kansas City this week it will come in handy but I believe one pedal (may or may not) do the same. Will see. Have to see if I can switch them on the fly without having to stop or be in park. The one pedal is a little jerky when you turn off cruise control unless you are ready to apply the pedal when you do it then start slowing down gradually or else one pedal brakes fairly fast. When starting out it acts like you are tied up to something when you pull away as you have to overcome some resistance. You just need to go east of town to find some hills.
