prep: sand the letters down thoroughly with 240 then wipe with Isopropyl Alcohol
painting: first coat is a light misting, 15 mins per coat, total 5 coats or until black is gone
Would not recommend you use clearcoat over that RustOleum Auto Enamel. I had 5 coats of the red on there, it was flawless after 24 hours. I then sprayed clear and it ruined everything, started to flake. I have access to an auto body shop so I ended up just using their paint (no idea what it was but its high end). I wouldn’t have had to do any of that if I just left everything alone after 5 coats of the rustoleum red enamel.
