Remote Start Issues

I'm having this issue as well, stopped working when premium connectivity ended, I tried paying the 10 dollars to renew premium connectivity and my remote start started working again, canceled it, and now its not working again.

from everything I can find premium connectivity should not be required to remote start via the fordpass app but it certainly seems to all of a sudden?

Found the issue - the truck was going into deep sleep mode but wasn't telling me. I suspect because of a small draw from my OBD port. Unplugged all OBD devices and has worked fine since - except yesterday - but the truck legit went to a deep sleep (which it told me in the app) because it was -40 with the windchill and I didn't plug in - whoops!

Premium connectivity is not needed for Remote Climate Start. I do not have it, and remote climate start works fine. You may have a glitch with the connected services in general. Try going into Connected Service in the menu on the car, turn off all connected services and turn the ones you want back on. Verify you have the cellular connectivity icon by the HotSpot swith (usually the switch is off but it will show if it is connected to the cellular network). This sometimes clears up connectivity glitches.

this problem seems to have just resolved itself, my settings were all correct as described, I probably jumped the gun on worrying about this, it was probably a temporary network issue or something and I moved straight into trouble shooting.
