Really weird, the steering wheel was in a turning position while I was going straight to a stop sign. I stopped, took a picture and showed the wife, she asked why I was turning left, I told her the truck is going straight. Crept a little bit further to the stop sign and steering wheel stayed offset.

Only thing I could think to do was power the truck off and then back on. Sure enough the steering wheel rotated by itself back to center. The vehicle was I'm Park. Was cool and scary at the same time. Hasn't happened since that December day.

So this happened in December and you haven’t taken it in to dealership?

Going to go ahead and state the obvious and say that could‘ve been, and could be a dangerous situation.

That looks like the adaptive steering getting confused.

This looks like an adaptive steering issue as others have said. Look up some of the videos online of super dutys with this problem. youre not going to lose control of the truck the steering wheel is physically connected to the steering shaft. the little motor inside the wheel behind the airbag is off. most likely youll need a new wheel.

It hasn't done it since and when I powered off then back on in park, the wheel rotated back to the normal position. We definitely would've taken it to the dealership if we had a reoccurrence.

Pg 312 of Owner's Manual (2022):

Note: If your vehicle loses electrical power
or detects a fault when you are driving, the
system shuts down and you retain a normal
steering function with a fixed steering ratio.
During this time, it is possible that the
steering wheel could not be straight when
the vehicle is driving straight ahead
. In
addition, you could notice that the steering
wheel angle required to steer your vehicle
could be different.

Wow! I don't know why I didn't check the manual, but that's fantastic you did. I tend to not bring my vehicle back to the dealer unless I absolutely have to. Again, had it happened multiple times, I would have made an appointment. will check the manual in the future! Thank you!

This might help explain my issue. My wheel has been slightly turned left while going straight since the day i got my truck. Had an alignment done at 300 miles and helped a little, but still slightly noticeable.
