Switch dealer from CA to TX?

I placed a reservation on May 20 2021 so I am hoping to be able to order a MY23 vehicle. Is there any benefit or downside switching from the San Jose, CA dealership to one in the Austin, TX area?

No way for us mere mortals to know for sure. But, Cali is a ZEV state, so theoretically gets more allocations. IF Ford can make as many as they want next year, that shouldn't keep you from getting a '23, but could, possibly, be a cause for delay? IDK.
