OK I have the ATV 3 EV 285 70 18. On +18 aftermarket wheels and a two inch level. I lost .2 to .3 off my range so on the road. I figure on 1.5 to 1.6 with the EV version, which is 4 to 5 pounds lighter I believe, and more compliant. Stock i was running 1.8 to 1.9 driving 75 to 80. Now noise, it's a quiet truck. Yes you will notice the noise for a minute or two. After that you will turn up radio by a notch or two and it is forgotten.

Still a decent drop in efficiency but if you're ready for it, i guess it doesn't really matter hehe. I wish I could find something that could be decent with efficiency just because i'm a nut for stuff like that....makes me feel less guilty when i'm driving "less efficient" once in a while haha.

Nice looking rig btw. Colour and wheel combo really work.

I got a great deal on a set off of marketplace and have been running them since Feb 2025.

Range - tough to say exactly due to seasonal changes, moving to a bigger tire without setting speedometer, and adding a 2" level at the same time. I would say 10% drop max.

Noise - louder than stock but still much quieter than other trucks with AT tires I've been in. The tires combined with the level make it feel stiffer and ride more like a truck. I got used to it quickly.

Traction - I did notice one time when I was at a stop sign on a bit of a slope from left to right that it started to slide a bit on the ice. It's a heavy truck so make sure to take that into account when driving in the cold!

I drive mainly in town and charge at home so a 10% drop doesn't bother me and is worth it for the way it looks. I will probably do marketplace again for my next set of tires and won't be put off if they are non-EV.

I just purchased a set (non-ev) the other day because the original Hanook tires, no matter what I did, had outer wear issues.

My biggest concern with them is making sure that I don't end up with the same issue (all four tires looking like I have alignment issues) after a year. Do the EV versions do a better job on that that the A/T 3? I think I still have time to take them back and switch them if not.

Noise hasn't been an issue. The cold has affected the range, so once we are back to normal here, I'll be able to judge that.

From my research, EV tires have just a little less grippy thread (to not have as much resistance) and higher load ratings since they're usually heavier (but even on any other tire, anything over 115 should be fine for the lightning)

To minimize wear, with these tires being max PSI of 44 lbs, what is your cold tire pressure? I put in 36 per the door of the truck, but they feel a little squishy and I don't want the early, uneven wear I had with the original tires to happen again. It's why I had to get new tires at 24k miles.

I mean..I don't have these tires on my truck right now. I have the cheap winter tires that ford put on when i bought it...but those tires are sitting between 41-42.

Whatever tires I'll buy, i'll go as high psi as i safely can to try to maximize range
