this just might really be the issue and the fix. Fingers crossed.
Gateway module repair went well? Buzzing gone? LV battery OK? Was EV charging the cause?

@Sneakypetie78 Thanks for the question. (I'm horrible on follow-up).

So, basically it was a fried Gateway Module (behind the huge iPad-style screen).
There was a complication in that once the dealer replaced the gateway module things weren't working correctly. It turned out to be a bad ground in the frunk-area fuse box. Once that got fixed, it was like new.

It took about a week at the dealers, a few days for the gateway module to come in and then a few more to troubleshoot the bad ground. ( I was given a Mach-E as a loaner, so the wait wasn't all bad).
A huge shout out to my guardian angle who is always monitoring this forum and helping behind the scenes. You know who you are, so a Huge Thank You!!!

After some deliberation, I think I might have been the cause of the bad ground. When the Lightning was bricked I tried replacing the LVB, because that was my first suspect. In handling the cable harness for the LVB, I might have done something...who know for sure, but I did monkey around the frunk area, so I'm willing to own up to my mistakes.

All's well that ends well. And it sure did.

Never did find out what the "cause" was. That will remain a mystery, although from what I have seen in the Gen14 Forum is that the gateway module replacement is not uncommon on the F150 generally. So, it could be a manufacturing/quality control issue with that part.
