Hey all,

I have an assumption that the 2021 bolt pattern/mounting location for running boards/side steps is a carryover and the same as the previous generation. Has anyone tried mounting older steps to their 2021? I'm thinking of ordering some Ford Performance rock slider (style) steps, but they haven't updated compatibility in the catalog yet...

I will just contribute to your assumptions, I havent personally tried yet, but alot if not all of the aftermarket are starting to list theirs as crossovers.

Looking at the motorcraft accessories.l sheets between 2020 and 2021 and the only difference is the air deflector in front of the rear tire comes off and is replaced by a cap the rest of the instructions look exactly the same with the same mounting points and brackets.
