Hello everyone! First post on this forum and have a question, I put my $100 deposit down on 5/20 few hours after launch and have a reservation number 108291** and received the previous email from ford about reservation time has been verified and place in lilne has been reserved. My question is I got an email last week from Ford saying that my chosen dealer has changed ownership and my deposit will be refunded in 7-10 days and no no reservation is required. Does this mean I lost my place in line now? I called Ford and they said you should be ok as is per email but check with dealer to see if new deposit is required which I did and the dealer has no idea but can see my reservation in the system still.

I suspect you are ok and you should be be able to see your reservation on you Ford account that you set up when you reserved. Dealers receiving a transferred reservation have typically not required a new deposit.

IF you're worried about it, why not just go and ask the dealer? They can tell you if you're still in the system.

When I changed dealers, my $100 deposit was refunded, but my reservation remained. As @GarageMahal said, if you see your reservation in your Ford account, you are fine.
