  1. PPOB "Unavailable"!

Definitely post the dealer's findings. I've had the same problem for my '22 Lariat for a few weeks.
  2. Comma AI self driver assistant

I sent you a direct message with Comma 4 BP 7 for Lightning screen captures attached as a zip file (using dark souls model).

For Bluepilot 7 in the Comma 4, you disable BP Long control under the Sunnylink 'vehicle' menu. About half way down you select 'Bypass BP Longitudinal Control' I also select the next box down 'Disable Downhill Compensation' even though it is supposed to be automatic.
  4. Comma AI self driver assistant

Mine does. I did disable BP7 long control and am using Ford's ACC native long control. I have had no issues using both WD40 and DarkSouls V2.
  5. 2022 Lariat Repaired Buyback For Sale - Would you buy this?

Most of that looks like pretty standard stuff for early model Lightnings - mine was in the 2nd wave of builds and experienced much of that. The real question would be: How much are they asking for it?
  6. Comma AI self driver assistant

Sorry, I have followed this closely before ordering one for my 2022. If you do a Google search you will see Ford has begun encrypting some 2024-25 models and that people are reporting problems with comma AI on newer model Lightnings. ALSO, if you check Comma AI's compatibility list doesn't...
  7. Comma AI self driver assistant

It's my understanding that the 2025 Ford EVs use an encrypted data buse and aren't compatible with Comma AI. There are a number of threads and the Comma forum that reference it.
  8. CarPlay AI Box for 2025 Lariat??

You are correct, as I learned the hard way. The box I recommended was not a good fit for the Lightning, as it constantly froze up and required frequent rebooting. I ended up with the ATOTOOUT Magic Box - AI Box... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F5QBT2NV?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share. It has worked...
  9. Rotary Shifter Part Numbers

I went with the @PolymerBuilt version referenced above, but I agree, yours looks nice.
  10. 2.5 Hours around town at -35F - Some Statistics

From my experience in both the 22 Lightning and the 21 Mach E, I haven't notice the cold air being mixed into the flow at high fan speeds until the outside temperature is below -10 or so. That may be because the battery isn't yet requiring a large share of the heating, due to its preheating or...
  11. 2.5 Hours around town at -35F - Some Statistics

Ref the two comments above, as far as I know, my 22 Lightning doesn't use a heat pump. As mentioned, heat pumps are pretty much worthless when there is no heat to pump - like at -35. Likewise LFP batteries. I wouldn't buy a vehicle with an LFP battery given the extreme winter cold here
  12. 2.5 Hours around town at -35F - Some Statistics

August is typically very gray and damp here in AK. I recommend June and September if you are playing the weather odds. Of course, many of the tourist sites are closed after mid Sept. By the way, while the charging situation between the Canadian border and Fairbanks and Anchorage is currently...
  13. 2.5 Hours around town at -35F - Some Statistics

This is the box I am currently using: ATOTOOUT Magic Box - AI Box CarPlay & Android Auto Wireless, 8GB+128GB Android Car Video Box with Built-in 4G/ Wi-Fi/Dual Bluetooth/USB, Built-in GPS & AI, microSD Playback, OTA, Black, CB6D It's not as a big as it looks in this image - a little less...
  14. 2.5 Hours around town at -35F - Some Statistics

Yes, I had it set to 73F, but, as you can see above, the cabin never got above 70F. I've found, that to keep the windshield mostly fog free, you need to set the temp higher to ensure the warm air reaches the upper part of the windshield. I never use 'Auto' in extreme cold, or set the Fan...
