The dealership wanted to change the oil in my Mach E at 10k miles. When I asked how many quarts it took, then it got interesting watching them look for the answer. I am hoping for better knowledge with my Lightning.

I have the RetraxPRO XR on my 2017 Ford F-150 XLR Supercrew and it works great. I have never had any problems opening or closing it. I also bought the cross bars and they have worked great our kayaks, ladders and even a few steel poles.

I got a call last week from my dealer that my Pro was finally released from the battery hold along with 9 other trucks. I am picking up mine later this week but the dealer has two Pros listed for sale. They do come with $4k of dealer installed options.

Kearny Mesa Ford called me on Friday saying they received 10 Lightnings including mine that had been sitting on hold. Of course I had left San Diego for Atlanta for the month of April. Now I am flying back on a weekend to pick up my truck before the 18th but at least I'll be getting the full tax...

It is kind of frustrating though that blend dates after my truck's blend had already been delivered.

I have a standard range Pro (because all of them are standard range) and it went into Production on 1/15/23 but the build was not finalized until 1/23/23. So I am right in that window with a SR.

I like how I get different delivery dates based on which menu on Ford.com I use to check. My Accounts --> Reservations & Orders --> 3/10-3/16 My Account --> Check Order Status --> 3/18-3/31

I'm in San Diego and the Lightning (according to my dealer) is here at a holding station as well. The Lightning shipped back on 1/25/2023.

Yes it is. The dealer told me it is in a holding lot in San Diego.

I wonder if any of the vehicles they checked in transit were pulled to replace the batteries.

My delivery window this morning showed 3/10-3/16 which was yesterday.

I checked my order today and it still says 3/10-3/16 which was yesterday.

That is because the recall is on delivered trucks. We may never know how many other non-delivered trucks sitting in storage are effected.

Supercruise can change lanes when you turn on your blinker. BlueCruise kicks out if you turn on your blinker.
