Me too. A lot of people think they need an EREV but only a few really do. Theyāll still sell a lot of them since people frequently buy things they donāt really need but I canāt imagine having to drive anything that uses gas again.
I had the toggle and the green icon for almost a year with a checksum error in the headlight module that kept it from working correctly. I went back through all of the settings and found one error and now it works perfectly.
The other thing about CSPs is that they expire. This one expired in October 2024 so it wonāt show up any more. They did list a range of manufacturing dates so if yours falls in that range it may still have the bad version.
ProPower disappeared so I tried to log out and back in and now Trailer Light Check is also gone. Iām still convinced that one day they are going to remove all functions and the app will just be a picture of the truck.
Businesses have to pay to put those signs up and they can add charger info. Iāve seen a few that have EV charging on their sign but I havenāt seen a separate category.
Double check that you donāt have any DTCs. It sounds like it may not be working if your experience is worse with Glare Free. I had a checksum error that kept mine from working initially and once I corrected it they are amazing.

I knew mine had been through hell with the bad BMS and failed software updates so 2 weeks ago (3 weeks before my 36 month warranty ran out) I took it in and asked them to test it. As expected it failed and I got a warranty replacement and an additional year of warranty.
@Ford Motor Company hey Brian, some people are still reporting that they donāt see the PPOB feature in the Ford app. Is it rolling out or should everyone have access now? If they donāt have it is @TaxmanHogās solution above the best fix?
For those of us living in the south I donāt think there is much benefit to preconditioning. As long as the charger is capable Iāve always hit the 170 kW peak whether I preconditioned or not in the temperatures Iām willing to travel in. If itās cold enough to require preconditioning Iām staying...
