  1. Chewed-Off Mystery Tube Found Near Rear Axle - 2023 F‑150 Lightning

It might be worth going to the Munro Live YouTube channel and watching their teardown videos. Maybe you can spot it there.
  2. Mobile charger as Level 1 home charger. Bad idea?

Keep in mind that you can get a 240V charger at less than the full 48A. Have the electrician get you a quote for a 30A circuit which would allow you to charge 4 times faster than your current setup. It will also allow you to precondition which won’t work on level 1. Also remind the electrician...
  3. Ford Fathom EV Pickup ($28,350 Starting Price) - News & Info

I only bought an F150 because Ford wasn’t selling the Ranger in the US in 2018. I traded that one in for the Lightning in 2022. If they had a Ranger EV today I would buy it in a heartbeat. I’ll look at the Fathom but I suspect it will be too small for me. If they make an SUV version with at...
  4. DC Charging Issue

Tough to diagnose with just that symptom but it could be temperature related. If the pin temperature goes too high the truck will limit the current. Once it cools the current will increase and repeat the cycle. @branden did a post recently detailing the behavior. The fact that the connector was...
  5. Is there a meter or method to determine the 12volt battery state of charge (SOC)?

You can just leave it on. Just have to turn off the shut down timer.
  6. Coolant valve broken, no parts, buyback: Fix#92

This can happen even if the vehicle isn’t discontinued. A friend of mine had a new F350 that had a fuel pump problem a couple of years ago and it took 7 months to get all the parts they needed to fix it. He finally tracked down the last part himself by spending a day calling Ford dealers all...
  7. Ford App Annoyance

I recently encountered another annoyance with the Ford App. I don’t have a regular commute and I’m on a time of use plan so I have my truck set to charge to 80% between 11 pm and 6 am. A couple of weeks ago I was going out of town so the night before I used the app to charge to 100%. I didn’t...
  8. Is there a meter or method to determine the 12volt battery state of charge (SOC)?

Yeah, I went back and found what I was thinking about. It had to do with keeping the truck in neutral but it happened at the same time I was fighting BMS issues so I mixed the two together.
  9. Is there a meter or method to determine the 12volt battery state of charge (SOC)?

I seem to remember that opening and closing the door after powering off was recommended in one of the threads. I’ve been doing that ever since but wasn’t sure if it actually did anything.
  10. SYNC-26.2.8.3 SW Update 12 - Center Touchscreen [EAP]

@christooma. He commented on Twitter when Branden posted there and I’m pretty sure he’s using the same handle here.
  11. Return to Sport, NHTSA Complaint Filed

Be careful what you wish for. While I seriously doubt that NHTSA will do anything about this complaint I imagine Ford’s solution would be to stop asking and always default to Normal on every start. That would be the lowest risk solution.
  12. Bridgestone Duelers A/T Range Hit? Or is it the heat?

Are the tires rubbing because the diameter is larger? If you didn’t adjust the speedometer for the larger size it will be reporting a lower mileage that could be part of the drop.
  13. Customer Satisfaction Program (CSP) 26B09 - GWM, APIM, TCU Update - Intelligent Backup Function

Maybe Brian @Ford Motor Company could publish the list of VINs, or at least the last 5 digits.
