Following up to GoodSam's post #164, my '23 Lariat does indicate PPOB load wattage with the bed outlets powered via the Ford APP with the truck off (IPC, SYNC screens and lighting off).
Knowing how problems can appear with any software update, I wanted to be certain the minimum load requirement...
My '23 Lariat ER received the PPOB update this week. I can confirm that the 12-volt systems will be powered by the traction battery DC-DC converter when the truck is off with PPOB on. Also, the Sync screen and the instrument cluster will be dark, the AC and seat heat/cooling and exterior...
I have a theory the DC to DC convertor is not charging the low voltage battery in the affected Lightnings when PPOB is on. It's easy to confirm with a voltmeter from the DC power outlet by the passenger seat. If the DC voltage at the power outlet doesn't increase from the reading in accessory...
I'll add to my post#79. I tested the OEM 12-volt battery I replaced in January after charging it overnight. It still showed good on the battery tester. When this battery was in the truck, I measured charge/discharge currents of up to 40 amps. This morning with the truck on, the replacement...
@dmd3home , @chi I've been following this thread closely as we have already experienced 6 hours of utility outages this year. PPOB has become very important to us. I have run three extended tests of 6 hours or more from around 70% HV SOC without the Lightning shutting off PPOB or itself...
I just checked the cabin outlet on my ‘23 ER. The frequency was 59.94 Hz as measured on my Fluke 179. Both the cabin and bed outlets inverters vary by .01 Hz at a 1 second rate.
I suspect this slight variation is intentional. There are power systems which use this type of frequency shift to...
Have you had a light load on the bed outlets when PPOB has incorrectly shut down? I am wondering if software for the 24 version of Pro Power which has a light power load auto off feature may have been loaded.

Looking at the photos in post 6, some of the under bed wiring was intentionally cut. Hard to say why the damage was done, but it wasn’t from rodents chewing on the wiring or the result of road debris.

Have you tried using another level 2 EVSE with your truck? If you could charge at the Ford dealer that did the repair, you could demonstrate that there is a problem with the truck and not just with the FCSP.

The issue with the Generac transfer panel has been a thought problem for me since the first post in this thread. Knowing now that the contactor coil is DC operated, suggests that there would be a full wave bridge diode assembly powering the coil. If that is the design, the diodes will supress...
I found a couple of possible replacement plug & cables at Digikey.com which list Phoenix Contact EVSE products. The stock number is 277-1101121-ND which appears to be a direct replacement lists at $1030.01 Each.
If you are not going to use the FCSP with HIS, there is an AC 80 Amp only cable...
I have an EE question on the Generac panel. Does the transfer contactor do a make before break switch on the neutral conductors? If so, that might explain Pro Power on Board tripping on ground fault when the source is switched via the solenoid on the contactor vs. manual operation of the...
I am 28 months into the OEM low voltage battery and have had several battery tests reports recently indicate weak-recharge. What is Fords standard for test results which would call for a warranty replacement of the LV battery?
I'll add that when I have checked the charging current it has been...
