This pretty much sums up how I feel about it "A complicated solution to a nonexistent problem."

I want to know what gear I’m in without the need to look so I hate rotary shifters. I like the column shifter idea for the fact that it’s not taking up space on the console. I wouldn’t pay $800 for it personally.

I'm using an iPhone (no way to clear cache) but with the data not updating on ford.com either I don't think it's an app issue. I have not driven the truck since doing anything listed above so it's possible it will update when I do. Also, to add to the coincidence that may tie it to sync...

No dice on the app re-install which makes sense as milage and SOC aren't updating on ford.com either. The health check does show "Last health check update: 09:41 AM on 7/7/2025." But i'm guessing that's just the last time the page was loaded and not actually that it connected to the truck.
