Looks like AI slop to me.

No actual technical details at all in the article? Every citation in the article is to a broken link? No matching info available via google search (which also began with its own AI misinformation option!)?

This future of (mis)information fabricated by GPTs is so exciting!

Can i join? My truck only had 90% power this morning. Shouldn't matter that it was 35F and under 30% SOC :cwl:

Joking aside, apparently there is a suit for Ford goofing on xlt window stickers on newer models saying it had the Forward Sensing System. Only ones that benefit from these are the lieawyers

It is very likely the truck with 3.9 second run included 1ft rollout. This means it’s realistically a 4.3 second 0 to 60 run.
I have to add that my tire slipped when I got that 4.8 sec time. If I lowered the pressure, I probably could improve it a bit. This guy did it from the stop in sport mode (I didn’t):

I haven't figured out what Sport does other than make the pedal more touchy at the start and makes the steering heavier.

Here's your proof......
It's called: Class Action Lawsuit for Reduced Performance. It's in the documentation. Loooook it up yourself. There's your proof. Have a nice day loyal Ford guy...
Almost anyone can get a lawyer to file a class action. There are no strawberries in my strawberry pop tarts and other BS cases like that

This has nothing to do with the lawsuit mentioned in this thread……
Sorry you thought I implied it did. Hope you didn’t waste time digging in to figure that out. I’m only pointing out the original linked article claims it was a “safety measure” which is laughable given an actual safety device was omitted and we were offered $100 bucks.

Ok so I’d like to put the performance claims to rest.

I have a 2025 Flash with the 130kWh battery. When I first purchased the truck in May, I did a few instrumented acceleration tests with my RaceBox with only 300 miles on the truck. My best 0 to 60 was 3.83 seconds on a sunny 55°F day at 99% SoC.

Today with 70.5% SoC, 3 inches of snow on parts of the truck, 31°F temps, and nearly 11,000 miles on the truck I did another 0 to 60 run in the EXACT same location as the May test. The result? A 0 to 60 run in 3.97 seconds.

So, does the trucks performance deteriorate? Did Ford push an update to reduce the performance of the trucks? In my opinion, no.

Btw ignore the 1/8 mile time, I rolled off well beforehand.
