i did see it a couple pages back, there’s where I found out about it. Just wasn’t sure where to change the setting. I’ve only used as built but I guess it’s just in the Easy mode?
I saw your concern posted earlier too, when you say be careful here are you talking about possible extra stress on...
I definitely need to speed up the frunk opening/closing speed. I often skip using it because it's so slow. I missed what needs to be changed in ForeScan to make this happen. Where do I access the speed and how do I change it?
That's the model I was on before upgrading to 5.0 and had the ping pong. Should I try that model on 5.0 and see if it's better or just jump to AJZ's suggestion of WD40?
I was able to get BP 5.0 installed yesterday. I was experiencing some ping pong on the highway and was hoping 5.0 would resolve this, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Is there a different model I should try or is there a specific setting I can slowly adjust to try to reduce?
Wondering if there is a recalibration or hard reset I can do for the HVAC system? I do have access to Forescan.
I have been using the "Auto" setting for HVAC and simply been setting the desired temperature. I did this on my previous 2013 F150 and had great results and like not having to mess...
Not using the ODB power. But I was able to clear the code once I had the new cable installed.
I just wanted to share the code with you because you mentioned wanted to look into the cause of it so I figured I’d grab a screenshot before clearing the code.
New cable appears to have done the trick. I was able to get the comma to start up without errors on the dash and was able to clear all DTCs with forscan and my FordPass app is now clear as well. Thanks for the help.
I did snag a screen shot of the A/C DTC that was lingering if it might help...
I ordered that cable. Should arrive today and I'll give it a shot. I was also occasionally getting a DTC for lost communication to the A/C compressor. I'll see if that clears with the new cable too.
Ugh. Thanks for all your help Tony. At this point, I think I might just return it. I'm still within the 30 day window and I don't want to sink more money into the process and potentially not even fix it. I'm also not a huge fan of the camera on the windshield and I think I've given myself...
Still no luck. Switched only the connector end, then the dock end so that both ends had been rotated. Then rotated the connector end back so that only the dock end was rotated and all 3 still gave the error
Straight to the dock. No double female connector and no short USB. I added the short USB when I got your connector because there was no other way I could see to connect the connector without it. Right now it’s going from the harness to the short USB to the lightning connector to the long USB to...
with only short usb and connector, I did not get the service vehicle warning. I re-attached via long cable and got the warning again.
Some additional details is I’m using azj’s sliding dock too.
it’s only with the Comma installed. If I disconnect the USB C and start the truck, I don’t get the service vehicle soon alert on the dashboard. It’s persistent in the FordPass app though.
