When you call tech support because your computer won't turn on, the first question they ask is, "Are you sure it's plugged in?"
I know you said that the dealer replaced the battery. When I read this thread, my first thought was, "After they replaced the battery, did they fully charge it and...
When I'm towing my 6500 lb 30 ft travel trailer, I will regularly follow a Semi tractor trailer in order to eek out an extra 0.1 or 0.2 mi/kwh.
Mind you, I'm not drafting them, per se. If I've got the cruise control on, I'm still at 2 bars on the adaptive cruise. It does make a difference in...
There is a free version, but I do have a subscription it's only $50 / year. The subscription allows you to integrate with Android Auto, have multiple vehicles, live traffic and weather, plus a bunch of other features (like setting SOC at destination).
It does take the average ratings and...
I haven't found a way to do it in Google Maps. This is one of the reasons I like ABRP. I can have a separate vehicle that is my truck while towing, and I can set the mi/KWH (currently 0.9 @ 65 mph). Then the whole app works like it should - although I do have to tell ABRP not to communicate with...
I've been trying a number of changes in FORSCAN and so far, I can't get anything to work. I'm going to play around a little bit more today, but I'm thinking it may not be possible. The problem seems to be that the recirculation may turn off/on for a variety of reasons: time on, humidity in...
I don't need more range. Even when I'm driving long distance, I can't go more than a few hours without having the stop, get out, and stretch my legs. What I need is more high-speed chargers, and a faster charging speed (800V architecture?).
I love it for when I'm pulling a trailer, because one can adjust the 'mileage' that the vehicle gets. In my case, I set the car to 0.9 mi/kwh @ 65 mph when pulling the trailer. ABRP is crazy good at estimating battery left at the destination, and accounting for hills, weather, etc.
This is an interesting discussion as I've often wondered about similar issues.
With my old tow vehicle, the travel trailer would clearly draw power from the truck when I put out the trailer slide. With the lightning, that doesn't seem to be the case - or at least if the trailer is drawing...
