For the next owner of VIN **10205, here's some info for you:
The Good:
The parts you'll need to love:
Thanks to those that gave suggestions for what they'd do if they could do it over again. I picked up a used Tesla Model 3 Performance for things that don't need much of a truck, and will give my F100 some more seat time when I do. My kid loves the farts and the white seats (excited to see how long that lasts).
out for now Lightning fam!
The Good:
- Truck is cosmetically immaculate (ceramic coated, interior had rubber mats and an easy life)
- Ceramic Tint all around and on sunroofs (20% Front/50%Rear/20%Back/20%Sunroof)
- Be the first person to get every update and post about them
- Eibach Pro Kit Suspension set at 2.9"/0" and is perfectly level and aligned
- Wiring/USB power supply is tucked in headliner to left of rear view mirror
- All TSBs have been completed (Ping Pong, Rear Light Bar, Wipers, Dash Tray, etc...)
- Always charged with long term ownership in mind....
The parts you'll need to love:
- HV Battery has been out 3 times
- Key and PAAK only works on front doors (bluetooth radio issues on rears?)
- Passenger front seat has a rattle, as does the door card, and something in the sunroof
- Rear sliding window rattles if opened (TSB completed but didnt fix anthing)
- Get a random ding every time you turn it on
- Drivers door seal flutters when going over bumps (door has been adjusted 2x... keeps moving)
- Almost all the clips under the frunk were broken by repeated service visits... get those replaced.
- An infotainment system that makes Temu electronics feel like they're powered by a supercomputer.
