You are gonna wanna drop it off with it around 50% SOC to help when they have to balance the packI drove it down to 2% to charge overnight before the appt tomorrow.

Too bad you likely don't have time to attempt a 100% charge with the timetable ya on. It'd definitely satiate my curiosity on the subject. Good luck with it man, hopefully they can get you fixed up before the move!Sheās on the charger now. Charging at 10.1kw but it says in the app itāll be charging for 20 hours to get to 85%. Crazy bad calculations.

Since I can't charge at that rate, nor have I had to charge at those temps, I suspect it's some combination of the pack knowing it needs a cell balance and colder temps. The lower a cell depletes the more delicately it'll need to be charged, perhaps it's attempting to do this and factoring it into the time. The only way to know for sure is to let it do it's thing. Since you're appointment is tomorrow, I suspect there won't be time for that. But charging 10.8kw should necessitate 12 hours of time. Now 20.
Nah itās only 50 degrees right now. I did change it to 100% so it should be done before I leave the house at 0730 tomorrow. I suspect it will still be 83% when I leave and that a battery module is bad.Since I can't charge at that rate, nor have I had to charge at those temps, I suspect it's some combination of the pack knowing it needs a cell balance and colder temps. Extremely likely, I almost hope that to be the case so it can get fixed properly, but more data is always better.Nah itās only 50 degrees right now. Again, it's only speculative intuition, but I could see it being used this way, it could be plopped into any BEV or hybrid as is. The rest of the module could be fine but an disabled BMS in a module would explain everything. I can't think of anything else that would without a schematic.Thatās a good point. Iād the module ādiesā the module canāt communicate at all Andi only receive 83% of the size of the battery when charging.
