Southwestern Ontario (Canada) meet up?

Great to see this idea for BlueCruise #1 2026 picking up steam so quickly. (ha)

A collective messaging system is a great idea so others could join up / catch up and otherwise track the progress, but I'd have to say Whatsapp isn't the greatest option for this. We can't tempt people's eyeballs away from the roads with devices during this thing.

Does anyone know if it is legal to use a hand-held CB radio on a specific dedicated channel? one that wouldn't cause issues with law enforcement or first responders? Some of the sports car "rally" groups use radios to keep tabs on the group but those "rallies" are just races, whereas this is more like a parade. They are about evading law enforcement while we're all about safety and all that.

Discord, Teamspeak or something along those lines might be an option. People can come and go as they please into the channel and doesn't cost anything/have to worry about compatibility.

Update: looking like Sunday July 5th is the best date for most. Please DM me if you have questions or need info. I'm still working on a few ideas for the exact location, but if you know the area, Springbank Park may be nice -- better than a mall parking lot with Tesla Chargers -- there are lots of within a few km/miles, on the way back to hwy 401.

Thanks to all those that filled out the survey! It was very helpful for planning and if you are interested and able to make I on July 5th, please fill it out for me. We have about 10 people able to make it based on the form, but I know others have commented that they plan to come down. It would be awesome to have 10 or more.

For the interested party from Calabogie, Ontario - We'd be honoured to have you travel that far! Please DM me so I can help with your request for hotel options the evening before.

This is great and glad to see gathering interest! I've tried a few times via FB to do this around Barrie area but no luck. I'm very interested myself in coming and joining the convoy from the GTA.

Hey all - here's a quick update. Sunday, July 5th at 1PM EST is our official meet up time. I've posted this in a few places and we've got some good interest -- estimating 15+ will make it (I hope more). Ford is also offering to provide swag for us!

I have a bit of a surprise for those that attend as well.

As we get closer to the date, please confirm (DM or reply here) if you're coming.
