Really appreciate the feedback from you both. I've been holding off on installing a PPO feed for back-up power given the current configuration/location of my main panel. Putting in SigEnergy V2X system would simplify modifications and looks to be a better solution.

I'll follow-up again with installer as the SigEnergy system really looks to be a great solution.
I wanted to add that the Sigenergy inverter goes on a 60A breaker (48A continuous). If you have the floor/wall space (3 feet wide) at your existing charger, you can probably use the same wiring you already have in place.
At your main panel, you just need the Load Hub wired in between your service and panel, and then move the existing charger wire/breaker over to the load hub.

There have been a couple nice updates for the Sigenergy system. The main thing is that now when the truck is plugged in, it not only takes over the home loads, but actually charges the home battery back up. This makes the V2X act the same as a home generator would.
You can either leave the truck plugged in to handle the house loads, or you can just plug it in to top off the home batteries, then unplug again.

Ford F-150 Lightning Sigenergy V2X for the Lightning (and most other EV's). The way bi-directional charging should be! 1786663587957-a

You mean only when the grid is down, right?

This is the same on-grid or off-grid. There isn’t much distinction. In my case I am on-grid but in self consume mode to avoid daytime use. I get free electricity at night. It would work the same in a power outage as well.
