  1. A2Z/Lectron Supercharger Adapter experiences?

Yeah I think they did just get a production batch. I had ordered mine January 12th.
  2. A2Z/Lectron Supercharger Adapter experiences?

So I got notified early this morning that my A2Z adapter shipped via UPS. I believe they ship from Montreal, so it may take a bit to arrive. Right now the tracking number just says label created.
  3. Use FCSP or other for home charging

For the vast majority of people, 48A is plenty.
  4. NACS Adapter Now Available + Ford EV Owners Can Now Charge on Tesla Superchargers in U.S., Canada! 🙌

BTW, this site shows daily updates to the Supercharger network, which ones are in the permitting stage, construction stages, upgrades, etc. It has a list (https://supercharge.info/changes) and a map showing all this. Anyways, every day there are is a lot of activity.
  5. NACS Adapter Now Available + Ford EV Owners Can Now Charge on Tesla Superchargers in U.S., Canada! 🙌

Yes but those companies are also backlogged. A2Z and Lectron. I actually posted a link here and on the Rivian forum in January and was shouted down for posting commercial links! Anyways they retail for about $200 at those companies.
  6. Received A2Z EV (NACS to CCS) adapter today

Yeah, I thought that was a very interesting future product (not available yet). Will be useful for people pulling trailers and many other situations.
  7. Received A2Z EV (NACS to CCS) adapter today

Anyhoo, I just bought one for my Rivian R1S. I too have been buying and using all sorts of bought and homemade adapters since 2013. Nice to see a small manufacturer stepping up to the plate. You guys do realize A2Z is taking a big risk themselves if these don't work, right? At the very least...
  8. Other 80A chargers?

Oh right, those guys. Looks funky, looks bulletproof and are expensive. Not really appropriate IMHO for home use.
  9. Other 80A chargers?

And mine is only 6 hours long. Nonetheless, for me, that 6 hours is enough time to recover my charge 99% of the time with 48A charging.
  10. Other 80A chargers?

Given the issues some people have had with the FCSP charging at 80A, it begs the question, are there any other good options? First, if you don’t need to charge at 80A, then sure, dial it back down to 60A or 48A or whatever works for your driving habits, and the FCSP should be able to handle...
  11. I have a Tesla wall charger with adapter 80 amp how can I check to see what it is delivering?

Yes, but he hasn't answered the important question - what version of Tesla Wall Connector does he have? Seems that some V1s have trouble charging at 80A with J1772 adapters (there are two different V1 Tesla Wall Connectors), while V2 Wall Connectors can do it (and of course, the current V3 have...
  12. I have a Tesla wall charger with adapter 80 amp how can I check to see what it is delivering?

Anyone else get annoyed when the OP of a thread is active for a few hours and then never comes back? Meanwhile the rest of us are answering questions (and in this thread) posting wrong info, etc. I suggest we let this thread die until and unless the OP ever comes back.
  13. Why would I need a mobile charger?

Huh. My older Tesla would loss range overnight in cold weather when not plugged in. Maybe the F-150 is different or I had weird settings on my Tesla.
  14. Why would I need a mobile charger?

I use it when renting a condo. I always pick a condo that has a garage, and can then plug in. Especially useful if this is done in cold winter weather as the EV battery will drain quickly if not plugged in when it’s cold.
  15. I have a Tesla wall charger with adapter 80 amp how can I check to see what it is delivering?

@Yellow Buddy you've got a V2 Wall Connector. We still don’t know what version the OP has because he hasn’t told us.
  16. Tesla Wall Connector + TeslaTap Mini 60A J-1772 Adapter not working

And that's why you should always have a file drawer of all your manuals! Fascinating catch/discovery about DIP switch settings between the two different V1 Tesla HPWC versions.
  17. I have a Tesla wall charger with adapter 80 amp how can I check to see what it is delivering?

Yeah, and FlasherZ talked about setting the Wall Connector down to 72A/90A breaker. But My HPWC (gen 1 Wall Connector) does not have a 72A/90A setting. For mine, all I can set is 64A/80A or 80A/100A At any rate, I really do think the Gen 1 Wall Connectors are bad news at 80A with anything other...
  18. I have a Tesla wall charger with adapter 80 amp how can I check to see what it is delivering?

So you suspect the Gen1 is hit or miss with the Lightning then? That would be my guess too.
  19. I have a Tesla wall charger with adapter 80 amp how can I check to see what it is delivering?

Tesla Tap has been making adapters from the Roadster days (like 2010), so they know a thing or two about adapters. If you read the specs for their normal 80A J1772 adapter, it specifically says it is compatible with the v2 or v3 of the Wall Connector, not V1. I gave a call to the Tesla Tap...
