When I had a problem with my battery module the dealer told me they did not have a loaner for me. The Ford representative contacted the dealer for me. The dealer called me and the next day I was driving a loaner. I think Ford can make it happen for you.
You know the most amazing thing is that Ford monitors our forum. And if you posted how good your truck tows, or how you did an amazing camping trip they would responds within minutes to the post. But if you have a problem with the HIS system you get crickets.

I would join the suit. The system has not been reliable. I just never know if it is going to work. It was a large reason that I purchased the Lightning.

For trucks in a cold climate I wonder if something like a RV skirt or insulated or low heat box below the battery would improve maintaining a warmer battery temperature. Some folks heat their stairs and driveways to melt icing.
