Finally got around to putting my money where my … um … rubber meets the road(?) : )
Chose the KO2 in 275/65R20.
No rubbing (as others reported.)
At 45 psi, no increase in road noise. Ride is a bit firmer (new tires tend to be a bit stiffer at first, but I imagine the increased load rating means...
Google says 30 hours. I can't imagine the campsite that would burn 7.2kW continuously let alone hour after hour. I guess in a blizzard a giant triple axle 5th wheel with three AC units, four slide outs, a large family taking continuous hot showers, and cooking Thanksgiving dinner …
In my...
A pity he didn't know to look at the charging pedestals to see the rate of charge and capacity. These look like production test vehicles not just pre-production mules. Of course they could still be working on the battery (and I hope their working hardware and software for the touchscreen … they...
Well, just about every modern vehicle has these gremlins. My F-150 Prius has been trouble free for 8 months and 12,000 miles (except for the transmission shifts which was fixed … with software … : )
Anyway, just don't ever buy a Tesla! … you might think of Tesla as the high tech leader, but its...
I think that's logical. Ford could credit the equivalent of say $200 in FordPass Rewards and I'd be fine with it.
It seems to me if they can put it in a new truck today, they can put it in my truck at the dealership today and fix OTA some time next year or whatever is the holdup.
The old "exercise weight on the steering wheel" trick, eh?
There's an ankle weight with velcro that people use. It's not something I'd want to risk, but there are far worse drivers out there than negligent abuse of a self-driving system. The Uber test driver that killed someone was charged with...
There's always going to be new features from time to time. I'd like to have known CCD was coming, but I wouldn't have waited for it, nor would I wait for BlueCruise.
What's galling is the OTA snafu ... BlueCruise is going into trucks and people have it on the road.
Ford could at least offer a...
I plan on drilling through the bed in the corner under the onboard outlets and grommet a cable through the hole with a male plug that reaches the L5-30R. When I need it, I plug it in, otherwise, the cover remains closed and the usual warnings of an open outlet cover will appear when it's plugged...
250lbs as a rough guess googling, 1 kWh of battery is 9 kg (call it 10lbs) so 10kWh is roughly 200lbs and I'm adding 50lbs for better cooling and a bigger motor as well as the cabling and connector for the plug receptacle.
I think the PowerBoost is a little shy on max payload, but it's not a...
The specs of the Lincoln PHEVs could be applied to the F-150 and F-250. While the "ten times bigger" capacity of the Aviator PHEV might seem impossible, it's about 700lbs all-up for the Aviator phev drive-train and as noted, well within the design of the F-150 to change the suspension to handle...
True. I think the rivalry is healthy (and necessary because it's going to be a long time before battery energy density and charge time equal a tank of the dinosaur droppings.) If anything I want to see the Hybrid benefitting from the technology in the Lightning and the Hybrid joined by a plug-in...
A Honda generator grumbling away in the middle of the event?
Why not allocate a Lightning as generator or if those are in short supply … surely there's a lot of facepalms over in the F-150 Hybrid team … maybe the Lightning folks didn't want the side-by-side comparison … : )
No worries. Thanks for the correction. There's someone with the 275/65R20 BFG TA KO2 on the Hybrid in another thread, so that's what I plan on doing.

Excellent. Thank you.
The mods moved this post from the Prius forum to the tire forum, so I decided to drop it, but I am so "details" oriented when it comes to setting up a vehicle, I did want to ask if someone with a Hybrid has this tire … so you spared me the "are you serious?" replies if I...
Thanks. This is the tire I plan on using year round.
Did you have the speedo adjusted for the larger tire?
Have you measured (using GPS) the change in actual speed per 1000 rpm?
One site suggests it's only 1 mph at 20 mph and 2 mph at 60 mph.

Does the BFG All-Terrain T/A K02 fit the 2021 F-150 Hybrid FX4 in 275/65R20?
The 275/60R20 is the direct replacement, the 65 is an inch larger overall diameter with much higher ratings and only 2lbs heavier with basically a half inch extra clearance at rated pressure or I guess higher sidewall...
