  1. 2021+ F-150 FORScan List / Database / Spreadsheet ?

I have a Platinum. I guess wireless is "in there" – I'll just have to go find it. I guess it could be a phone thing. I recently replaced my phone. I just futzed around with the touchscreen and the only thing I get is this USB prompt:
  2. Reservation holders for 2022 F-150 Lightning - sign in here!

yep. It's easy to handle the transaction load, but I doubt they (the company providing this "reservation" transaction processing system) built something to process 27,000 registrations in the first 60 seconds (there are easy, cheap ways to avoid that kind of server load spike.) I think the...
  3. Reservation holders for 2022 F-150 Lightning - sign in here!

That's a screenshot of the reservation email, not sure how/why there's another number. Looking at the plot, every dot that's not "on the curve" must be an error.
  4. Reservation holders for 2022 F-150 Lightning - sign in here!

When I think about having 27,000 reservations in front of me … that's a long line at the deli ... but in this chart, it doesn't look so bad (and hopefully 50% of the spontaneous $100 "why not?" reservations postpone that $50K impulse purchase … : )
  5. 2021+ F-150 FORScan List / Database / Spreadsheet ?

Yep. Google does all that stuff. Automated window blinds. Front door bell/camera/intercom. It all works pretty easily with some weird, weird limitations like window/door open sensors don't report if the system is in "home" (rather than "away") mode. Bizarre. Anyway, inexplicable unforced error...
  6. 2021+ F-150 FORScan List / Database / Spreadsheet ?

Doesn't seem to offer it in the F-150. Maybe in other vehicles with Sync-4. There are "wireless" options in the menus, but it seems to work through USB only. (maybe I need to try harder …)
  7. 2021+ F-150 FORScan List / Database / Spreadsheet ?

I think it's still easier to use a phone … at least in the phone you can turn off the "listen" mode so Google/Amazon don't record everything the phone can hear. And Google's voice interface and map routing prove more efficient than the Ford system (which seems to ignore traffic till it's too...
  8. You can't get there from here.

My comments are pretty much 100% Tesla experience. I often see EA's distinctive whilte/green pedestals nearby (and they're usually empty …) I'm hoping that my next steps are a Rivian to replace one of our Teslas and a Lightning in '22 as my daily driver – neither of those decisions require EA to...
  9. You can't get there from here.

If you scroll down one more paragraph, this explains how one pedestal has both chademo and ccs … is there a count that combines all the DC Fast pedestals ("outlets") to get a correct head count of available charging points? There's still the problem that even if the pedestal offers 250kW or...
  10. 2021+ F-150 FORScan List / Database / Spreadsheet ?

I think you're talking about FORScan. https://forscan.org/download.html The "how to" instructions are the first post of this thread (and really, reading all of this thread is useful.) https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/2021-f-150-forscan-list-database-spreadsheet-%F0%9F%92%BB.1578/
  11. 2021+ F-150 FORScan List / Database / Spreadsheet ?

That photo looks like the instant before a Star Trek teleportation. I didn't know FORScan could teleport.
  12. You can't get there from here.

That's how we use the Model X … my "circle" is how far we can comfortably travel with no drama and one 30 minute stop to charge and stretch the legs. That means about 250 miles starting with about 90% charge running down to about 10% with a known Supercharger at that distance (ish) then charge...
  13. You can't get there from here.

By Internet standards in my experience, this is an enjoyable civil forum and the content of the posts is focused on the topic and worth reading. There's always miscommunication and ambiguity in the written word, and yes, you have to expect a degree of bias in the nature of an owners' forum. : )
  14. 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning Reservations Reach 120K!

FU – that's an odd couple of points.
  15. You can't get there from here.

True. The Apple "it just works" appeal of Tesla (especially if you have the lifetime free option, which I have on my Model X) is a slam dunk compared to futzing around with Chargepoint or the other "networks". But – big BUT – Ford and other car vendors have solved this by working a deal with the...
  16. You can't get there from here.

I don't see anything suggesting the CCS network is anywhere near the size of Tesla or adding pedestals at a faster rate (across the USA or the globally.) https://www.electrifyamerica.com/locate-charger/ https://na.chargepoint.com/charge_point Looks like about 1500 DC Fast charging. Tesla...
  17. The Alpha WOLF™ Electric Truck

That could work, but anything without a glide wing isn't going to have the energy efficiency needed to travel more than a puddle jump. I think Lilium has a viable design and a workable business model (starts out as a point-point helicopter service.) https://lilium.com/ Joby needs a battery and...
  18. The Alpha WOLF™ Electric Truck

I think that's the inevitable upheaval of the auto industry – they've been complacent with their oil deals for too long, now they're stuck in the tar pits and their fate is inevitable. Toyota and VW have been lured in by Tesla and they're in catch-up to build EVs while Tesla is almost "done"...
  19. The Alpha WOLF™ Electric Truck

Rivian isn't Nikola. They have $10B and the IPO will give us some look into what's real. I think just Bezo's dislike for Musk (in part due to the current legal battles between SpaceX and Blue Origin for NASA contracts) is enough for him to make sure Rivian embarrasses Tesla.
  20. The Alpha WOLF™ Electric Truck

I'm sorry that I've missed your point. I mean to say Toyota is unique in that it brought to the auto industry the marketing concept of raising a sub-brand as a premium above the core brand. Nissan and Datsun are the same company, not an attempt to raise a premium brand marque (which for Nissan...
