I'm sure logistics play a part after it's built - and it may beforehand. If I was Ford I would be prioritizing every order that has an MSRP over $80k to try and get them delivered before the end of the year. Mine is shipping by truck to Montana. I'm hoping there are a few going to Idaho...

I just called. Chip shortage on mine as well. How long have these been taking to clear? also I was told that my private offer has not been added and that I needed to contact the dealer. Has anyone had this issue?

If you want to update mine - my build date was the same as blend - 11/7/22 and I got the tear tag the next day. Modules active on 11/9/22 I believe. No ship date yet.

The issue will be the “box” you build is not NEMA and is physically too close to the electrical enclosure. You might get an inspector who would overlook that since the charger is connected to a receptacle.

Never had a heat issue. With the pro max it just doesn’t fit where the charger is placed. Anyway this is ford forum so I’m sure people don’t care to hear about our Tesla issues.

My company is buying the Lightning and I am considering wrapping it, or at a minimum doing some graphics for our EV Charging company. Has anyone wrapped theirs? I'd love to see it - especially if it was wrapped with advertising or for company use. Thanks.
